About Hiking (Mixed Group) with Ruth and Josh
Hey friends! We are back for another season of hiking - this time you will really need some good boots and winter/ rain weather clothes as we won't be letting the miserable Irish weather stop us from gathering, hiking and praying together in the beautiful Wicklow hills trails!
This is a mixed group for all ages, and all are welcome, but you will need to be able to do some hiking - the trails are all usually decent tracks, but there can be patches that are a little more difficult, particularly as the winter progresses.
Here are the locations we will be going to so you can look them up:
11/10/25 - Crone Wood and Maulin Mountain Loop (7.7km, Moderate)
25/10/25 - Lough Ouler and Tonelagee Loop (7.9 km, Hard)
08/11/25 - Glendalough Loop via The Spinc (12.6km, Moderate)
22/11/25 - Lugnaquilla (13.4 km, Hard)
You will need to have access to a car as many of the trails are not accessible by public transport, and we will be leaving at 09:00 as they all take a few hours to complete.
This will be our 4th season hosting this group and we are excited to have you join us to make some new friends as well as taking on a little challenge on a Saturday morning! We can't wait to meet you!
